How do I remember kind, wonderful Aunt Elaine with mere words? I'll try - she always had time for me through the many years we stayed in touch. We honored the life and memory of Uncle Pete, and laughed about the many odd situations in our family - Aunt Elaine always had a positive way of looking at things and made others feel so comfortable. She was such a treasure; I will miss our calls and her loving letters (I still have them) and of course her infamous "I love you back". She possessed a nature that was down to earth, and spirited at the same time - people loved her for it! Although her vacations were few, they were no less memorable; she recanted those to me with joy. Being a true servant of those less fortunate brought comfort to Aunt Elaine. She was a role model for all of us. I was a better person because Aunt Elaine was in my life and loved me. She was a pillar of strength for me the many times I was gravely ill... God Bless my dear Aunt Elaine - until we meet again! Love, your niece, Liz (Texas)
