"Little" Jimmy

Dad, There's a reason why they called me "little" Jimmy and it wasn't simply that we shared the same name. Throughout life I have always felt a special attachment to you, as if I were an extension of your personality and feelings. You supported me throughout my entire education,from elementary school when you tutored me in your favorite subject (science),through high school, when again, you had to tutor me in chemistry. Having a chemist as a father did have its advantages. If it were'nt for your constant pushing me, I don't think I would have made it through college. One of my earliest memories was being in the hospital overnight as a young boy (tonsils maybe)and all I did was cry constantly. You and mom came to visit me and you left me with an orange and a toy. Where you got the idea for an orange I'll never know. I remember holding that orange and crying even more that night because it reminded me of you and I missed you so much. I will always remember our fishing trips and bowling tournaments and I will forever thank you for your generous gift of the most wonderful Hawaiian honeymoon with my dear departed wife Karen. Rest in peace Dad. Love Always, "Little" Jimmy
