Regina Florence  Loiodice
POUGHKEEPSIE – Regina Florence Loiodice, a lifelong local area resident, died on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. She was 86.

Daughter of the late Kazimir and Mary (Rudzinski) Supranowicz, she was born in Beacon on July 3, 1931.

Regina was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family, watching the New York Mets and T.V. game shows. She worked as an administrative clerk at the Texaco Research Center in Glenham. She then worked for many years at her beloved niece Janice’s gift shop before retiring to spend time with her husband and grandchildren.

On October 11, 1953, she married Nicholas Loiodice at St. Joachim Church in Beacon. After 62 years of marriage, she was predeceased by her husband on November 17, 2015.

Regina is survived by her sons: Michael and his wife Heidi of LaGrangeville, Nicholas and his wife Michelle of Dover Plains; daughters: Karen Wilcha and her husband Steven of Hyde Park, Gina Meyer and her husband William of Pine Bush; eight grandchildren: Ryan, Nicole, Emily, Jack, Alex, Rachel, John and Ethan; and many other loving relatives & friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by her siblings: Jane Gallowe, Edward Supranowicz, Ann Wood, Emma O’Donnell, and Leona Hart.

Special thanks to the staff at Vassar Brothers Medical Center and the Manor at Woodside Retirement Community Home.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 28 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by interment at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
