Like others who have left condolences, I am one of the lucky people that was privileged to be coached and taught by Mr. Mostransky. Although it's been almost 35 years since he was my 8th grade and freshmen basketball coach, I can still recall conversations we had word for word. He left that strong an impression. After I was cut from freshmen baseball, Coach offered not only his sympathy, but a spot on the golf team. Having never played golf, I turned him down. Every lousy round I've played the last 25 years, I've regretted not taking him up on his offer! He valued us as people, not just athletes and students. God Bless
