Obituary for Linda A. Bacon

Linda Rella-Bacon
1948-2017

Linda Rella-Bacon (born August 26th, 1948), a longtime resident of Fishkill, passed away on June 20th, 2017 at 12:05 AM. Originally from the Bronx, she married Theodore Bacon (1937-1985) and relocated to the Hudson Valley in 1970. She worked hard in the mortgage and real estate business for many years while she raised three children. She loved her family, friends, Italian food, music and dancing.

A yearlong battle with cancer led her to the Rosary Hill Home in Hawthorne, where she spent her final months in peace, surrounded by family and friends.

While we were blessed with time to say good-bye, we are deeply saddened to lose her. Her humor, quick wit and heart will live on with us forever. She is loved by her devoted son Dean, her daughter Kimberly (and husband Guillermo), her son Ted, her many grandchildren, both near and far. Her brother and sister-in-law Carlo and Rae Rella, as well as her beloved niece, Nancy Rella-Brodesser. She has a large extended family of relatives, friends and neighbors, all of whom hold her dear. We will always miss talking to and laughing with Linda.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 3 – 6 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A funeral service will be held at 5 pm at the funeral home.
