Obituary for Scott Henry Tucker

STORMVILLE – Scott Henry Tucker, 62, a lifelong area resident, died unexpectedly on June 20, 2022 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born in Poughkeepsie on June 24, 1960, he was the son of the late Charles F. Tucker, Jr. and Julia Ann (Gosen) Tucker.

Scott was a buffalo farmer on the family farm, Homestead Farms, and a commercial diver with Underwater Construction Corporation in New Haven, CT. Scott was a member of the Elks Lodge in Poughkeepsie. He enjoyed fishing, rock climbing, flying his drone, riding motocross, and his pool. Scott was the most giving human being. There was nothing too big or small that he would not do for you. His kindness surpassed understanding.

On July 17, 2009 in Mexico, Scott married Pauline Tunno who survives at home. He is also survived by his children and their spouses, Brian and Iana Tucker, Meghan Tucker and Edgar Aranda, and Oliver Tucker; his faithful beagles, Gracie and Joey; and many extended family members and friends. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother, Charles F. Tucker, III.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 3-7pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. There will be a graveside service on Saturday at 11am at Hopewell Cemetery, 143 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction.
