Condolence: I first met Barbara when she entered the classroom at St. Columba School....she was the new girl that just arrived. I immediately went over to her to say hello as she was so very quiet. We became friends and I was honored to go to the parties she would have at her home. Her mother was always so nice to all of us. I so remember the last pool party at her home...what a wonderful memory. I did see Barbara in high school but somehow we had different friends and didn't spend time together. But, the wonderful memories of grade school have always kept me going when I remember Barbara. I was so upset when I saw her passing in the paper. It didn't seem so long ago that I read the Pok. Journal article on how she met her husband Jeff and how they found each other. My heart goes out to her wonderful mother and her brother Paul who I also remember in school. May God keep you all in the palm of His hand during this very difficult time.
Condolence: Barbara was a lovely and compassionate person. We kept in touch through cards and phone calls. It was always a delight to chat with her. She will be greatly missed. My condolences to Jeff, Her Mom, Brother and all the rest of your family. You will never be forgotten Barbara.
Condolence: Our deepest condolences to you during this very difficult time.Very upset and shocked to hear the news. Such a lovely person and was so good to our family. Her love for cooking is an understatement, we shared many tips on cooking and gardening. They were great neighbors and we will never forget the wonderful memories we have of Barbara and Dave for that matter. A tremendous loss, your family is in our prayers.
