Obituary for Paul F. Balter

Paul F.  Balter
TROY – Paul F. Balter, 72, a resident of Troy for the last 9 years, died at home on September 13, 2018. He previously lived in Hopewell Junction and the Bronx.

Born in the Bronx on July 22, 1946, Paul was the son of the late George and Lee (Hecht) Balter. He received his Master’s Degree from Marist College. For over 35 years, he worked for three pharmaceutical companies.

On July 1, 1967 at Our Lady of Victory in Mount Vernon, he married Margaret (Ferraco) Balter who survives at home. He is also survived by his daughters, Debbie Morris and her husband Jim of North Creek, Danielle Kesecki of Clifton Park, and Diana Murtaugh and her husband Ian of Endicott; and his grandchildren, Sarah, Jimmy, Ryan, Hannah, Liz, Liam, Clara, and Paul. He was also predeceased by his sister, Carla Kessler.

Paul was an avid bowler who was also a fanatical NY Yankees fan. Most of all, he loved his family and cherished his time with them especially his grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 4 – 7 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A graveside service will take place on Monday at 10:30 am at St. Denis Cemetery, 604 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction.
