Joginder "Guddy" Kaur Rathore, 75, a Dutchess County resident for 48 years and previously of India, died on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at New York Columbia Presbyterian.

Born on May 14, 1943 in India, Joginder was the daughter of Sant Bahadar Singh and Sardani Beant (Kaur) Singh.

Joginder was a member of the Mid Hudson Sikh Cultural Society. She was an avid member of the local community and enjoyed doing community service. She had a great sense of humor and was always in high spirits. She loved raising her children and spending time with her family.

Joginder is survived by her husband, Hazara S. Rathore; her sons, Varinder S. Rathore and his wife Sonia Kaur of Hopewell Junction and Gurinder S. Rathore of Fishkill; her grandchildren, Amrit K., Simran K. and Zorawar S.; and her siblings, Hari Singh, Harpreet Behl, Gurmeet Singh and Harkiran Kaur.

Services will be held on Saturday from 9:45 – 11am at McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The procession will then proceed to the crematory at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
