Condolence: I am one of so many fans of the band Left Banke and it’s members. It was great to hear about their reunion tour, though Steve Martin was sadly not part of it. My sincere sympathy to George Cameron’s family, friends, surviving bandmates and fans.
You made many marks and you are missed.
Condolence: I can never go to the upper west side without thinking about Michael, George, Steve, Tommy and Rick Brand...We all lived there some where and we were in and out of each others apartments all the time....the Left Banke dream was always being reached for.....RIP George...RIP Michael.....Don't think I can make the services...will try....certainly the end of a big era in my life....
Condolence: Deepest sympathy to the family and close friends of George Cameron. He was a lovely man and a terrific musician with great generosity and true passion for music. I was so honored to be able to share the stage with him recent years, and my love for his band the Left Banke is entrenched. We arrived too late to say goodbye yesterday at the hospital but my last memory of George is recent-- he was well and happy and sang brilliantly. He will not be forgotten; current and future generations will hear his voice as long as there is music.
Condolence: Our hearts are saddened with the loss of our old friend. The music world is a little bit quieter without his voice singing “Goodbye Holly”, but we all know that he’s in heaven putting together a new Left Banke....he kept the Left Banke music alive....we will miss you George.

Condolence: Please accept my heartfelt condolences. May your family find some comfort for their great loss in the promise held out to us in God's word at John 6:40.
Condolence: I just got back from Mt. Sinai hospital but I was too late, George had passed by the time I got there. He had passed away only a few hours earlier, I was told by attendants. I've known George since 1968 and he remained a friend right up until today, often joining my band on stage to sing with us as recently as a few weeks ago. I'll really miss our talks, his positive energy and his up beat personality. R.I.P. George.
