Condolence From: Lisa Springsteel Dupre
Condolence: I have such fond memories of Aunt Ann. She exuded such warmth and care for her family, especially when it came time to eat. I remember a particular time when I was child when we visited Aunt Ann and Uncle Walter and we had just finished breakfast before we arrived. That didn't matter to Aunt Ann. She still served us meatballs and sauce and she did it with such love. We will forever hold our memories of Aunt Ann close to our hearts.

Condolence: My fondest memory of Aunt Ann is when we visited the Bronx when I was a kid. After hellos and hugs, as we walked in to sit down, that familiar scent of Sunday gravy filled the room. She had the biggest pot I’d ever seen of sauce, meatballs and sausage simmering on the stovetop. It smelled so good but it was 11a. No matter. She sat us down at the kitchen table and said “Sit, I’ll serve you some.” I tried to resist, having only just barely digested my breakfast but she wasn’t having it. “No, no sit, eat, you’ll have some.” That’s my Italian family. And beautiful, warm, Aunt Ann. I will miss her. My condolences to my cousins Laurie, Barry, Chickie, Randy and their families. The Springsteel’s are thinking of you and keeping Ann alive in our memories. Amy
