Obituary for Joseph Coniglio

Joseph  Coniglio
Joseph Coniglio, 89, died peacefully on April 9, 2018 at the Wingate at Dutchess.

Born in Manhattan on December 3, 1928, he was the son of Joseph and Anna (Gervani) Coniglio. Joseph proudly served our country in the US Army during the Korean War and was employed as a maintenance worked with the Lavelle School of the Blind in the Bronx. He was a parishioner of St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church in LaGrangeville, and a member of the Knights of Columbus and Sons of Italy. He was also an avid card player.

On October 25, 1952 at Holy Cross Church in the Bronx, Joseph married Gloria (Sirico) who predeceased him on November 5, 2016. He is survived by his children, George Coniglio and fiancé Debbie Moran of the Bronx, Anne DiSalvo and husband Joe of Pleasant Valley, Gloria D’Arrigo and husband Joe of Las Vegas, John Coniglio and wife Lisa of LaGrangeville, and Rosemay Donohue and husband Gerry of Fishkill; his grandchildren, Vito, George Jr., Kimberly, Heather, Joseph, Gregory, Stephanie, Jillian, Sean and Ethan; and his great-grandchildren, Isabella, Riley and Angelo Vincenzo.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday at 11am at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church, 1925 Route 82, LaGrangeville followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
