Obituary for Mary Morgan Villforth

Mary Morgan  Villforth
Mary Eileen Morgan Villforth, a Fishkill resident since 1952, formerly of Beacon, died on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the Wingate at Dutchess in Fishkill. She was 96.
Daughter of the late John F. and Catherine (Gelchion) Morgan, she was born in Jersey City, NJ on April 26, 1921.
Eileen was an active parishioner of St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill, where she participated in many of the church’s groups and events. Before being employed at the Texaco Research Center in Glenham for a few years, she attended Packard Business school in Manhattan. She was a member of the Fishkill Historical Society and volunteered with the Girl Scouts.
On June 18, 1944, she married Frederick J. Villforth, Jr. in Beacon. Eileen was predeceased by her husband on August 15, 2010.
She is survived by her son, Frederick J. Villforth, III & his wife Barbara Sparacio of Hopewell Junction; her son, John Paul Villforth & his wife April of Houston, TX; her daughter, Mary Jane Mitchell & her husband John Grosso of Austin, TX; her grandchildren, John R. Villforth & his wife Amanda of Norfolk, VA, Mary Katherine Mitchell of Ossining, and Nathaniel S. Villforth of Washington, DC; her great-grandson, Evan Villforth of Norfolk, VA; her brother, Raymond Morgan of Medford, NJ; her brother, John Morgan & his wife Anne of Fishkill; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives & friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Eileen was also predeceased by her sister, Jane Culnane.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 28 at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Fishkill Food Pantry, 1153 Main Street, Fishkill, NY 12524.
