Obituary for
James Daniel Boniello
James Daniel Boniello, 58, passed away on November 24, 2017 in Albuquerque, NM after a brief illness. Jim was born in Peekskill, NY on April 6, 1959 to Joseph John Boniello, Sr. and Mary Boniello.
Jim graduated from Peekskill High School in 1977 and from Sullivan County Community College in 1979, where he studied Hotel and Restaurant Management. He spent many years traveling the country before settling in New Mexico and taking a job as an account executive at Colonial Life.
Jim enjoyed fishing, skiing, hiking, camping, and hanging out with his friends, and he loved the New York Yankees.
Jim leaves behind his two sons, James, Jr, 30 of Naples, FL and Michael, 27, of Poughkeepsie, NY. They are considered his greatest achievements.
Jim was predeceased by his father Joseph in 2012. Jim is survived by his sons, his mother Mary, four brothers (Joey, John, Jeff, and Jay), two sisters (Joanne and Jennifer), and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
A wake will be held at McHoul’s Funeral Home, 1089 Main Street in Fishkill, NY on Friday, December 8, 2017 from 6-9 PM. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 11:30 AM at the Church of the Assumption, 920 First St, Peekskill, NY. Burial at the Assumption Cemetery will immediately follow the mass.
